What do you do to unwind at home, once the kids are tucked up in bed and at last you can put your feet up? Some days I feel like we don’t actually sit down to unwind until at least 9pm, once the boys are in bed and we have had dinner and I have cleared up.
Of an evening generally we sit together and watch TV and chat about our days. Normally once a week I will go out on a Wednesday to go to Fight Klub and Zumba which I absolutely love and its the only time I am out of the house with no children in tow. I also blog to unwind as well.
Rattan Direct have recently put together a survey orientating around what do parents do to unwind around the home. It would be great if you could follow the link to the survey and then Rattan will share with us their findings shortly.
The survey breaks down into 3 key areas:-
1. What parents do to unwind around the home?
2. How are you going to celebrate Christmas this year? (Yay 9 weeks!)
3. Has Brexit actually affected your spending habits around the home and garden?
So I will be as transparent as possible with you lovely lot and answer my questions here as well as on the survey….
So question number one I have answered above. Number two, Christmas since we had the boys is always at our house. My parents and Greg’s parents take it in turn each year for who comes to lunch and then whoever didn’t have lunch comes over at about 3pm and then we all have presents and a buffet in the evening. Although this year will be the last like this as we are moving in Feb and will have a lot more space so then everybody can come for lunch together. On boxing day we all go to my in laws for traditional turkey soup, my parents and my nan come too. We also go on our annual visit to see Father Christmas at Harrods.
Question three. Spending is the same to be honest.
Like I said check out the survey and I will share with you soon Rattan’s results.
