We brought our first ever Stokke Tripp Trapp when Oscar was small and then went on to use used it when Archie was born with the newborn seat. I then brought the Stokke Steps as Oscar got annoyed that he had to share his Tripp Trapp with Archie. In addition to a wide of variety of colours and accessories, Stokke now offers complimentary engraving of the back of their Tripp Trapp chair with your child’s name, adding that extra special personal touch.
I first saw a personalised Tripp Trapp in the flesh last month when Oscar and Archie were both models for the collaboration between Stokke and Alexandalexa.com for Baby London which you can see HERE. Alexandalexa.com sell the most beautiful kids clothes with a huge range of designers on offer. Both Oscar and Archie were kitted out for head to toe in brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, Adidas, Bang Bang Copenhagen, Stella McCartney, Tao & Friends, Veja and Zoobug Sunglasses. They both looked so cute!
We had such a fun day and the boys loved being part of the shoot, strutting their stuff and being spoilt by the lovely ladies at Azaria! We got to meet up with some other lovely bloggers/instagramers and their gorgeous children; Jessica from Lilypod & Sweetpea, Chelsea with Harlen and Harlow, Lisa from LeeLee Loves and Becky from Wishes & Wellies.
Stokke then kindly sent each of the boys a personalised Tripp Trapp in the hazy grey colour which matches our kitchen perfectly! Archie uses his with the baby set and a star print cushion which is so easy to wipe and keep clean and Oscar uses it as a chair at the table, keeping my lovely new chairs clean! 🙂
I love that with the Tripp Trapp they grow with your child starting with the newborn seat, to the highchair using the baby set, to a chair for bigger children and even adults can sit on it too. The great design means it doesn’t look out of place and blends in with our other furniture.
The boys love their personalised Tripp Trapps and using them everyday! The Tripp Trapps are £169 and the engraving is free of charge!
Last Thursday Archie and I headed into London to the Wardof Street gallery in Soho to take a sneak peek of Mothercare’s new Autumn/Winter collection for 2016. This included the newest pieces from the ‘Little Bird’ collection by Jules Oliver and the gorgeous ‘Smile’collection by the world famous designer, Julien Macdonald plus much more and the exciting launch of ‘My K’ clothing range for older boys and girls by the lovely Myleene Klass who also has her baby clothing range ‘Baby K’. It was also a really exciting day for me as my lovely friend Rachel came along with us to film a vlog for me.
When we arrived the windows of the gallery and the interior were decorated in a monochome theme to compliment Myleene’s new range. Myleene was actually there in person when we arrived and we grabbed a quick photo with her and I got to chat with her for a couple of minutes about her new collection. Without a doubt Monochrome is on trend at the moment with most if my Instagram feed full of Monochrome interiors and fashion so I absolutely love the new ‘My K’ collection that has completely embraced the trend and the clothing and shoes are amazing. There were actually quite a few pieces that I would love in adult sizes for me, the sparkly black trainers in particular!
We then looked at the ‘Smile’ collection by Julien Macdonald which is available in 0-2 years, there are so many gorgeous pieces for boys and girls and I absolutely love the collection. I have picked out and ordered a few pieces already for Archie. Here is what I have ordered and a couple of my favourites that I haven’t been able to get in his size yet.
The rest of the Autumn Winter collection has gorgeous leggings, dresses and tops for girls with lovely hats and bags to accessorize with and for boys lovely animal printed joggers, lion jumpers and other animal themed pieces that I know Oscar will love as he loves anything to do with animals. The Peter Rabbit collection is also gorgeous and is available in 0-12 months. The range is in soft greys and with gorgeous little prints on them. The whole collection is perfect for newborn gifts.
We had a great afternoon and as you can see there are some amazing pieces for boys and girls in the Mothercare Autumn Winter collection for this year. Take a look below and the vlog Rachel Mannes from Minifilmz put together for me. She is absolutely amazing and if you need films with content for your blog/website made for you please drop her an email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are going on holiday to Greece soon and Oscar needed lots of new clothes for the holiday and to last for the rest of the Summer. I went onto www.next.co.uk and managed to find everything I needed all in one place with next day delivery! Within ten minutes it was all ordered. From purchasing things from Next before I know their prices are great, the quality is amazing and their children’s clothes sizes are very generous so will last for the rest of the season. In the boys and girls shorts and trousers they either have tie waists or adjustable button waists to make sure they last. I know from experience that whatever I buy from Next truly lasts the whole year. When buying clothes age 3-4 for example, they really do last in fit and quality for age 3-4 and sometimes a little bit lounger.
They have some fantastic things for younger boys and girls online and in store. They have great sun safe swimsuits and hats to make sure the children don’t burn which are 50 SPF. They come in fab designs from Woody and Buzz to Mr Bump for boys and pretty Paisley designs, butterfly designs and many more to choose from. I also brought a fun Superman towel poncho to put on Oscar after playing in the pool.
There is also a wide range of children’s beach shoes. There are character crocs and espadrilles to keep their little feet comfy. They also have pretty sandals for the girls.
I brought a few linen shirts and a pair of chino shorts for the evenings and they have a four pack of T-shirts at an amazing price and packs of shorts too. They have cute sun dresses for the younger girls and pretty cardigans.
Overall I brought lots of bits at an amazing price and can’t wait to go away now and I will post pictures of Oscar in his holiday gear.
I thought I would mention I also brought some clothes and shoes for myself and the ladies section is well worth looking at as again the quality is great and everything fits comfortable and flattering to size.
